New Boundary Technologies and Eurotech to Present Customer Success Stories at Internet of Things World 2019
Presentations will demonstrate how New Boundary Technologies RemoteAware™ and Eurotech’s Everyware IoT™ platform work together to solve IoT challenges for equipment manufacturer and oil & gas customers

May 8, 2019 – Minneapolis, MN/Santa Clara, CA – New Boundary Technologies, a leading provider of innovative Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) applications, and Eurotech,  a leading provider of industrial IoT Edge Gateways and Edge-to-Cloud enablement software, announced today that they will co-host presentations highlighting  mutual customer success stories, in addition to demonstrating their complementary IoT solutions at the Internet of Things World 2019.

Internet of Things World 2019 will be held at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California May 13-16, 2019. The presentations and demonstrations will take place at Eurotech’s booth #1704.

New Boundary Technologies CEO Kim Pearson will conduct two IoT success story presentations touting work with Harmony Enterprises and IJACK Technologies in partnership with Eurotech.

For a company to build its own customized IoT applications, it typically takes more than a year and a six-figure development budget, in addition to an engineering staff well versed in coding. Kim Pearson will host the following success story presentations, explaining how New Boundary Technologies and Eurotech partnered to provide out-of-the-box, cost effective IoT solutions.

Harmony Enterprises’ Connected Trash Compactors
Stadiums, shopping centers and other public arenas do their best to keep waste contained to maintain their properties and create a pleasant experience for visitors. It’s imperative to the appearance of these venues that compactors connect to the venue’s IoT platform to notify when they are full or require maintenance. This session shares how New Boundary Technologies and Eurotech provided Harmony Enterprises with the complete solution for wireless monitoring of its portfolio of indoor and outdoor trash compactors and balers.
When: 1 pm, Wednesday, May 15 and 3 pm Thursday, May 16

IJACK RCOM’s Complete View of Oil Field Operations
Assets in the oilfield can be miles apart, requiring hours of driving for onsite visits to check the status of pumping equipment. Equipment malfunctions at remote locations are expensive and result in reduced production and lost revenue.  This session shares how Eurotech and New Boundary Technologies provided IJACK Technologies with a comprehensive remote monitoring system for their customers.
When: 4 pm, Wednesday, May 15 and 1 pm Thursday, May 16

New Boundary Technologies and Mel Foster Company announce Barn Sentry™, a complete wireless barn monitoring solution, at Develop with Deere 2019

New Boundary Technologies and Mel Foster Company announce Barn Sentry™, a complete wireless barn monitoring solution, at Develop with Deere 2019

January 24, 2019 Minneapolis, Minnesota/Chicago, IL – New Boundary Technologies and Mel Foster Company announced today the release of the Barn Sentry™ wireless barn monitoring solution at John Deere’s Develop with Deere 2019 conference, which is  taking place January 22-24, 2019 in Chicago. Attendees can view a live demonstration at the New Boundary Technologies booth at the conference.

Barn Sentry by Mel Foster Company is a comprehensive wireless monitoring solution for animal barns to help producers protect their barns, reduce risks to their animals and become more efficient in their operations. Barn Sentry monitors critical parameters including temperature, humidity, fans, water pressure, feedline motors, lights, and door open/close status. Additional sensors are available to monitor water leaks, CO2, CO, air particulate level, water flow, and motion.

Barn Sentry uses the New Boundary Technologies RemoteAware™ Internet of Things (IoT) web application service to provide 24×7 visibility to barn operations from anywhere on smart phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers. Every sensor reading has user-configurable alert thresholds to send text and email alerts when an asset needs attention. Users can also access video camera applications from the Barn Sentry dashboard to gain a complete view of their barn operations.

Barn Sentry is a flexible, upgradeable, monitoring solution that comes complete with sensors and a cellular-based Internet connection device.  Barn Sentry includes a monthly monitoring service that provides the cellular service and the RemoteAware application service. The system is easy to install in new or existing barns.  Users simply mount the Barn Sentry controller and plug it in, then mount the wireless battery powered sensors where they want them. Barn Sentry includes a battery back-up system for the controller and sends alerts if there is a loss of barn power.

Barn Sentry also connects to the John Deere Operation Center through John Deere’s API services.  This connection gives farmers and service providers visibility to barn status and alerts in the John Deere Operations Center application.

“We are honored to partner with Mel Foster Company to solve some of agriculture’s biggest challenges. Producers have a lot to track between their animals and farming,” said New Boundary Technologies CEO Kim Pearson. “Barn Sentry is an economical solution that gives producers a complete view of their barns to protect their animals and reduce production costs. Integration with the John Deere Operations Center provides convenient access to information from a single user interface”.

“Barn Sentry quickly demonstrated its value by detecting a low-pressure water issue before the first field trial installation at a hog barn was even completed”, said Mel Foster Company Director of Technology Martin Miller.  “The hogs had pulled a water cup off the wall and broke the water line.  The issue was quickly fixed thanks to the Barn Sentry text alert reporting the barn location and low water pressure condition”

Availability

Barn Sentry is available through Mel Foster Company and its authorized dealers. For information, contact Martin Miller, martin@melfoster.com.

New Boundary Technologies previews new products at Develop with Deere 2018

Minneapolis, MN – January 22, 2018:  New Boundary Technologies announced today that the company will be showcasing two new Smart Farming applications using its RemoteAware™ Internet of Things (IoT) application service at John Deere’s Develop with Deere 2018 conference.  The conference will be held from January 23-25, 2018 in Kansas City.

The new Smart Barn application monitors a broad range of sensors and equipment, including:

  • Barn environmental conditions, such as temperature, CO2, and humidity
  • Energy usage for power, lighting, and other sensors
  • Door open events

Farmers receive alerts when critical thresholds are exceeded.  Visibility to barn conditions optimizes production while reducing risks.

The new Anhydrous Nurse Wagon tracking application uses low-cost cellular technology to provide a view of nurse wagon location and tank levels.  Alerts are sent  when wagons are ready to be refilled.   Real-time visibility lets dealers and cooperatives provide growers with just-in-time anhydrous delivery while increasing nurse wagon utilization.

“The number of sensors in agriculture is proliferating rapidly as new wireless technologies drive down the cost of “Internet of Things” monitoring and control applications,”   said Kim Pearson, New Boundary Technology CEO.  “We are excited to grow our portfolio of Smart Farming applications to help growers produce more while using fewer resources.”

Both new applications connect to the John Deere Operation Center through John Deere’s API services.  This connection gives farmers and service providers alerts in the Operations Center when remote assets require attention based on sensor readings that exceed user-defined thresholds.
