New Boundary Technologies and IJACK Technologies Partner to Offer Oil & Gas Producers a Comprehensive Remote Monitoring System

IJACK™ RCOM delivers secure and cost-efficient monitoring of remote pumpjack systems

Minneapolis, MN / Moosomin SK, CANADA – August 28, 2018 – New Boundary Technologies, a leading provider of innovative Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) applications, today announced its partnership with Canadian-based oil and gas technology company, IJACK Technologies. Through this partnership, IJACK integrated New Boundary Technologies’ RemoteAwareTM  IoT application service into its IJACK™ RCOM remote monitoring system to improve operations in the oilfield for its customers.

The New Boundary Technologies RemoteAware IoT application service provides monitoring and control of remote sensors and equipment using a “single pane-of-glass” web dashboard. RemoteAware powers IJACK RCOM to provide a complete hardware and software solution to manage remote pumpjack systems from anywhere.  IJACK now delivers precise, comprehensive operating data to users in real-time to ensure all aspects of a pumpjack system are working properly and efficiently.

The RCOM dashboard provides a 360-overview of all IJACK units and locations on one screen – from rod load to casing gas pressure. Customers can remotely monitor more than 100 parameters securely from any mobile device. RCOM users can:

  • Access comprehensive “at a glance” performance data
  • Customize alarms and monitoring for any pumpjack parts with On/Off indicators
  • Tailor dashboard views by map view, navigation view, detail view and surface card view
  • Retain history records for 365 days (compared to the industry standard of 30 days)
  • Categorize pumpjack equipment by serial number for easier reporting, repair and maintenance

RCOM’s 24×7 monitoring eliminates unnecessary onsite visits to check the status of remote oilfield equipment.  When equipment requires attention, RCOM notifies personnel immediately and provides the critical information needed to dispatch the appropriate resources.  RCOM provides producers with the key information they need to improve performance, eliminate downtime, and improve profitability.

“We’ve fine-tuned our M2M and IoT applications expertise over the last 30 years,” said New Boundary Technologies CEO Kim Pearson. “We’ve perfected providing intuitive solutions with quick time-to-market. We’re thrilled to provide IJACK with a powerful, cost-effective remote monitoring solution for their oil and gas customers that can be implemented within a matter of days.”

“This partnership will allow us to provide our customers with up-to-the-minute and comprehensive data for their IJACK products,” said IJACK President Dan McCarthy. “With RemoteAware capabilities, RCOM truly drives our mission forward to providing responsive service and support from any mobile device.”

New Boundary Technologies previews new products at Develop with Deere 2018

New Boundary Technologies previews new products at Develop with Deere 2018

Minneapolis, MN – January 22, 2018:  New Boundary Technologies announced today that the company will be showcasing two new Smart Farming applications using its RemoteAware™ Internet of Things (IoT) application service at John Deere’s Develop with Deere 2018 conference.  The conference will be held from January 23-25, 2018 in Kansas City.

The new Smart Barn application monitors a broad range of sensors and equipment, including:

  • Barn environmental conditions, such as temperature, CO2, and humidity
  • Energy usage for power, lighting, and other sensors
  • Door open events

Farmers receive alerts when critical thresholds are exceeded.  Visibility to barn conditions optimizes production while reducing risks.

The new Anhydrous Nurse Wagon tracking application uses low-cost cellular technology to provide a view of nurse wagon location and tank levels.  Alerts are sent  when wagons are ready to be refilled.   Real-time visibility lets dealers and cooperatives provide growers with just-in-time anhydrous delivery while increasing nurse wagon utilization.

“The number of sensors in agriculture is proliferating rapidly as new wireless technologies drive down the cost of “Internet of Things” monitoring and control applications,”   said Kim Pearson, New Boundary Technology CEO.  “We are excited to grow our portfolio of Smart Farming applications to help growers produce more while using fewer resources.”

Both new applications connect to the John Deere Operation Center through John Deere’s API services.  This connection gives farmers and service providers alerts in the Operations Center when remote assets require attention based on sensor readings that exceed user-defined thresholds.

Senet and New Boundary Technologies Collaborate to Provide Rapid Time to Market for IoT Applications

Senet and New Boundary Technologies Collaborate to Provide Rapid Time to Market for IoT Applications

Allows OEMs, System Integrators and Solution Providers to Move Quickly from IoT Application Development to Commercial Deployment at Massive Scale

Portsmouth, NH and Minneapolis, MN – July 20, 2017 —

Senet, the first and fastest growing provider of secure, public, low-power wide-area networks (LPWANs) and Managed Network Services for Internet of Things (IoT) applications supporting the LoRaWAN™ protocol and New Boundary Technologies, a leading IoT application service provider, today announced a partnership to integrate New Boundary Technologies’ RemoteAware™ Enterprise IoT application service with Senet’s standards-based IoT network.

The RemoteAware IoT application service provides private-label branded IoT applications for equipment OEMs, distributors, system integrators and solution providers. A rich set of out-of-the-box capabilities deliver ready-made applications for a broad range of sensors and equipment, eliminating the need for software developers to build applications. Through a pre-built connector, applications built with RemoteAware can easily connect to Senet’s LoRaWAN, providing seamless access to the fastest growing Low-Power Wide-Area IoT Network built for global scale.

“Removing the complexities that slow the development of IoT applications and deploying connected devices at scale is of primary importance to our organization,” said Bruce Chatterley, CEO & President at Senet. “Having simplified network connectivity, device provisioning and management and application integration, our customers can rapidly scale from initial deployments to millions of connected devices, building a competitive advantage that is not available with any other LPWAN technology.”

Senet and New Boundary Technologies are both presenting at the upcoming 2017 InfoAg Conference being held July 25 – 27, 2017 at the St. Louis Union Station Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri. Senet is exhibiting in booth #64 and will be presenting on the various types of networks available to support IoT applications, with a focus on Low Power Wide Area technologies for smart agriculture and water management, while New Boundary Technologies will be presenting on the role of application software services in the IoT ecosystem. Both presentations will illustrate how farmers can benefit from the use of low cost sensor technology and network connectivity to detect soil moisture, crop growth, livestock feed levels and remotely manage and control connected harvesters and irrigation equipment, among other key functions.

“Providing customers with robust and secure end-to-end IoT applications can be a challenge for sensor and equipment manufacturers, distributors and solution providers,” said Kim Pearson, CEO of New Boundary Technologies. “By combining Senet’s IoT connectivity services with New Boundary Technologies’ RemoteAware Application Service, new applications can be brought to market at very low cost and with unprecedented speed.”

Senet’s public, standards-based and highly secure LPWAN currently offers coverage in a total of 225 cities and 23 states across the United States (see live coverage map), and has the ability to support millions of devices across hundreds of industries. Senet also recently announced its Managed Network Services for IoT (MNSI), which enables network providers to deploy LoRaWAN IoT services on their physical assets, supervise the network infrastructure, manage connectivity and control roles and access rights within a reliable and scalable solution.
